IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT OUR 2020 CLUB SHOWS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
As you will be aware, we are currently still following government guidance and all public events are cancelled and strict social distancing is still in place until the next government review in early May.
The committee has meet (virtually to ensure that we are adhering to guidelines) and have made several difficult decisions about club shows and activities for 2020. Whilst this is an important year for the club as it is our 65th Anniversary we feel that we have a duty of care to ensure that the health and welfare of our club members and anyone who may attend one of our events is our main priority.
With so much uncertainty around timescales for easing of restrictions and the amount of planning that is required for our shows we have made the decision to cancel all our 2020 shows. Our Judges have all been contacted and whilst disappointed understand the decisions we have made and are fully supportive. I am pleased to say that they have all been invited to Judge shows in 2021 and are available and we look forward to them judging our shows in 2021 and enjoying our delayed 65th Anniversary celebrations at our shows
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY FOR INFORMATION ABOUT OUR 2020 SHOWS

We do understand that some people may feel that we are making some very premature decision about cancellations, we will always but the health and well being of our members, committee and people attending our show first. Many of these people fall into the extremely vulnerable or vulnerable category and are either shielding on medical advice or are taking the decision to self-isolate to protect themselves and family members.
We are looking at how we can run some fun online activities and shows so please watch this space
We are lucky that as a club we are in a strong financial position and are all ready making plans for our delayed 65th Anniversary celebrations and 2021 shows
