Breed Speakers: Miss D Stark BVMS MRCVS & Miss A A Coull
The Breed Appreciation Day is open to anyone who wishes to gain a greater understanding or learn more about the breed. For those wishing to sit the “Multiple Choice Exam” you must be a JCF Level 1 Judge. For those wishing to take the “Hands on Assessment” you must have completed the breed talk and passed the MCE (previously or on the day).
The day will include:
- An in-depth talk covering the history of the breed, a detailed walkthrough of the breed standard with a demonstration dog.
- Informal 'Hands On' session and an opportunity to go over a number of dogs informally and ask questions of the handlers.
- There will be an “optional” hands on assessment (A3) in the afternoon.
Timings:
- Morning session: 9am - 2pm (with lunch)
- Lunch: 1pm – 2pm
- Afternoon session: 1pm - 4.30pm (with lunch), including the A3 'Hand On'
Please note: Priority will be given to those people who are expected to be able to proceed via the grandfathering route before the end of 2025.
Options for the day:
- BAD day only (£20.00)
- BAD & MCE (£25.00)
- BAD & MCE & A3 hands on assessment (£30.00)
